"Stones in the Garden: From Gilles Clément to Jean-Baptiste Lamarck" Facing the Abbey's magnificent stone monument, the Valloires Gardens harmoniously display plants and minerals, arranged according to the original idea of ​​Gilles Clément, the site's designer.
The evolution garden and the various "mineral" rooms dedicated to the Picard biologist Jean-Baptiste Lamarck are a good example and allow visitors to learn more about this figure.

For one day, the Valloires gardens are transformed into an open-air painter's studio. Beginner, amateur or experienced painters are welcome.

2pm to 5pm: Book signing session for the book "Peindre les fleurs à l'Aquarelle" by Evelyne Leroy.
2.30pm to 5.30pm: Small poetic infusion with Isabelle Baudelet from La Fabrique poétique
5pm: Exhibition of the day's creations and closing cocktail.

Every Sunday at 11am




From March to November, take a 1hour 30 guided tour of the gardens.
He'll give you all the keys you need to understand the history of the site, introduce you to interesting and emblematic varieties and give you a better understanding of how the gardens were designed by landscape architect Gilles Clément.
