The students become little explorers and set off in search of the garden's inhabitants. Using clues and observations, they discover insects, birds, and small animals, and understand the link between biodiversity and natural environments.

The students set off to explore Valloires Abbey and journey through the centuries, from the Cistercian monks to the Baroque style of the 18th century.
The visit allows them to understand the history of the site and its current role, while also observing the architecture and works of art that make it so special.

The students explore the five gardens designed by Gilles Clément and learn to interpret the landscape. Through observing the plantings and the layout of the spaces, they discover how gardeners create atmospheres, highlight the plants, and maintain this exceptional garden.
