Children discover the garden in a new way by awakening their five senses.

Through playful activities, they touch, smell, observe, and listen to nature, creating a direct and sensory connection with plants and their environment.

Cycle 2

The students embark on a journey of discovery into the plant world through their senses.

They explore the textures, smells, colors, and flavors of plants, while learning to better understand the diversity of the garden and to respect all living things.

VISITE ANIMÉE SUR LA PISTE DES ÊTRES VIVANTS

Cycle 2 & 3

The students become little explorers and set off in search of the garden's inhabitants.
Using clues and observations, they discover insects, birds, and small animals, and understand the link between biodiversity and natural environments.

VISITE GUIDÉE DE L’ABBAYE DE VALLOIRES

Cycle 3, cycle 4 et lycée

The students set off to explore Valloires Abbey and journey through the centuries, from the Cistercian monks to the Baroque style of the 18th century.

The visit allows them to understand the history of the site and its current role, while also observing the architecture and works of art that make it so special.

Lycée et école d’horticulture et paysage

The students explore the five gardens designed by Gilles Clément and learn to interpret the landscape.
Through observing the plantings and the layout of the spaces, they discover how gardeners create atmospheres, highlight the plants, and maintain this exceptional garden.

Cycle 1 & 2
Activité en extérieur
Children follow the journey of a seed, from its discovery in the garden to its transformation into a plant.

They observe fruits and seeds, learn about plant needs, and participate in planting to extend the experience in the classroom or at home.

VISITE ANIMÉE LES ANIMAUX AUXILIAIRES, AMIS DU JARDINIER

Cycle 2

The students set off to discover the insects and small animals that are beneficial to the garden.

They learn about the role of these helpful creatures, their diet, and the necessary arrangements to attract them and promote a garden that is more respectful of biodiversity.

VISITE ANIMÉE LES HERBES SAUVAGES ET CULTIVÉES COMESTIBLES

Cycle 3 & 4

The students discover the edible plants in the garden, including both wild and cultivated species.
Through a taste-based and sensory approach, they learn to recognize certain species and understand their culinary uses, both past and present.

The students explore the different areas of the Valloires Gardens and discover the diversity of plants from around the world.

This guided walk allows them to observe the shapes, colors, and atmospheres of the landscape while understanding the connection between nature, history, and garden design.
